Shea Photography is excited to announce that we've been chosen by Matilda Jane Clothing as one of the select few photographers across the country as a finalist in their
PhOTo LoVe contest!!!
- Matilda Jane designed this dress specifically for this elite group of Photographers...
- Our Job: Take a photo, incorporating the dress. Since each photographer has been given the same dress, the trick is to make it look "like Shea Photography" and to make the photo stand out as the BEST of the best! Since Shea Photography's philosophy is centered around the spirit of the subject photographed, we thought the best way to submit our best work was to let YOU put YOUR own twist on this dress.
- Your Mission: Bring in your darling model (girls ages 2-4) to the studio for our Shea Photography Casting Call. We will have the dress for your little sweetie to model, but we challenge YOU to put your twist on the image! There are no rules that apply to this. None, it's all fair game. Any additional clothing, accessories, props, etc will work. Wear it as a dress, wear it as a shirt. Be creative! But remember, it doesn't need to be too fussy-- often, your little star will make the photo a winner by just being her cute little self! But... Anything Goes!!!
The Details:
Our Casting Call will take place on Tuesday, November 17th.Session I: 9-11am and Session II: 2-5pm
There are a limited number of slots, so RSVP, ASAP to jane@sheaphotography.com with which session you will bring in your little model. Tell your friends! Once all of the images are captured, we will choose our favorite photo of each model. Each favorite will posted to both this blog and Facebook galleries.
Here's the fun part:
The photo that is the "Fan Favorite", receiving the most votes online, will receive an 8x10 of that image plus a $100 credit to use at Shea Photography in 2010! The 3 runner up photos that receive the most votes online will receive a free 5x7 and a $50 credit at Shea Photography for 2010! So-- Encourage your family and friends to vote on Facebook OR on our blog for your little star to become the fan favorite.
The Casting Call Winner who's image Shea Photography chooses to submit as our contest entry, will receive an 8x10 of the winning image, PLUS a 2009 Family Session & Fall Special Package I ($650 value) AND get to keep the Matilda Jane Dress!!
